Not all CD players will play mp3 recordings. If yours can't, use iTunes to convert an mp3 to the 'wav' format and 'burn' it onto a CD in four simple steps.

Having downloaded and installed the (free) iTunes program, launch it and drag and drop an mp3 file into the PLAYLISTS area. Put a write–able CD in your CD writer. |

Right–click on the mp3 file and select ‘Burn Playlist to Disc’. | |

A window called ‘Burn Settings’ will now appear. Ensure the ‘Audio CD’ radio button is selected (as shown) and click Burn. |

If the recording will not fit on one CD you will be asked to have another ready. Click the Audio CDs button to accept this. Add a blank CD when prompted and the burning will be completed. Top of page |
